The Bay Area Video Coalition (pronounced Bay-Vac) offers authorized training for Final Cut Pro, Avid and Pro Tools, as well as facilitating industry certification exams to become a Pro User. In addition to post production, BAVC provides training in the areas of Web Design, Digital Audio, Video Production, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Programming and Game Development. BAVC also publishes BAVC ENEWS, a monthly newsletter that you can subscribe to to find out about upcoming events, special class discounts, independent media screenings and calls for entries.

BAVC Members can obtain
Fiscal Sponsorship to receive tax-deductable donations for media projects, as well as using the Online and Offline Editing Suites at subsidized rates. BAVC also offers post production services such as Captioning, Preservation and DVD Authoring.

BAVC provides digital media training to youth in areas of video production, web design, music production and game development. Bump Records is a record label that promotes music created by artists participating in BAVC’s youth programs.
